How Does it Work?


1. Take out the mattress (the first time only) and place it inside the zipper base. The zipper pull should be all the way at the bottom of the zipper next to the plastic insert box mid way across the short side of the mattress. You may have to slide the zipper pull back until it rests against the insert box.
2. Place mattress pad on top of mattress.
3. Zip on the zipper sheet and tuck in zipper.

4. Place mattress into crib (first time only).

5. To change zipper sheet: Zip off dirty sheet and zip on a clean one.


What do I need?


We recommend that you have a Starter Set, which includes one Zipper Base and one Zipper Sheet, and at least one additional Zipper Sheet (sold separately). We also recommend that you purchase at least one mattress pad - ours are flat pads with no skirt for easy changes. I have a question regarding the starter set... does that include a top sheet, base sheet and mattress pad? I just want to be sure I purchase everything I need.


The Starter Set includes one Zipper Base and one Zipper Sheet. Additional Zipper Sheets are sold separately. It does not include a mattress pad.


Will the QuickZip fit my mattress?


Our sheet fits standard US mattresses that are 27" X 52" with a depth ranging from 5" to 7" inches. There is elastic in the base that allows for a good fit on mattresses of slightly varying sizes. Clouds and Stars sheets are preshrunk, but please allow for approximately 3% shrinkage on the first washing


Is the QuickZip Waterproof?


The QuickZip Sheet is NOT waterproof, and we suggest you use a mattress pad. A flat pad works best with our system so that there is no tuck in around the sides of the mattress. Clouds and Stars offers a cotton-top, flat, waterproof mattress pad in three sizes (crib, twin and play yard).


Can I attach the flannel sheet to a regular base?


All Clouds and Stars Zipper Sheets are interchangeable (excluding our discontinued "Original" model).


How is the double layer flannel Zipper Sheet constructed?


The flannel fabric does not hold its shape well so a layer of flannel is sewn onto a layer of woven cotton.


Does a standard crib mattress pad fit your set?


You can use a standard mattress pad with the sheet, however, it is difficult to change. We sell a flat pad for our sheet system that can be easily removed when the top is zipped off for washing.


Do you have sheets for the Graco PackNPlay?


We do make a sheet for the Pack-N-Play. It is shown on our website as our portable play yard sheet. It is designed similarly to a pillowslip with Velcro closures on the back. The top has two layers of cotton quilted together for added comfort. Our sheet is made of 100% cotton and is available in blue or yellow gingham and white or ecru flannel.
