Clouds and Stars Inc. CPSIA Certification of Compliance

You may be aware of new legislation instituted by the Consumer Products Safety Commission entitled the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act or CPSIA. This regulation covers products sold and intended for use by children. Clouds and Stars, Inc. manufacturers and sells the QuickZip™ Crib Sheet and the PortaBaby™ Play Yard Sheet. We closely monitor legislation governing our products. The CPSIA regulation limits the levels of lead and phthalates in children’s products. Currently, only zippers used in our products are subject to this regulation. Clouds and Stars Inc. uses only YKK zippers; YKK certifies their products for compliance with all CPSIA requirements including lead and phthalate legislation. In addition to manufacturer certification, Clouds and Stars, Inc. has and will continue to perform independent testing in compliance with applicable regulations.

The quality and safety of our products are critical to us. Our Certificate of Compliance is available on our website. Mattress pads sold by Clouds and Stars, Inc. are supplied by Perfect Fit Industries, Inc., Bargoose Home Textiles, Inc., Naturepedic, and American Baby Company. Certificates of compliance for the products supplied by these manufacturers are also available on our website.
